Food

Food is sold in grocery baskets that create a single meal for one person. A person needs three meals a day, one for each of the day’s play periods: Morning, Afternoon, & Evening. You don’t eat before the night period. Skipping too many meals will result in hunger rolls per the Survive skill.

Food doesn’t just fill you up! Each possible meal grants different bonuses that last throughout the entirety of the period! You should pay attention to whether these meals require cooking or refrigeration. Food that requires cooking requires a source of heat and a pot & pan. Foods that need refrigeration must be kept at home or with a cold-generating magic bag.

Pre-cooked meals at a restaurant cost significantly more, but are automatically considered Masterwork, which grants a +1 to Health during that period. The pre-prepared price of a food item is in parentheses.

In addition to grocery baskets, candies and desserts can grant 1 hour bonuses for situations where you need a tasty boost in a pinch! You cannot stack these effects – only one food and one candy can be in effect at a time.

Beverages and other snacks are like the previous, but they can be stacked.
